Cove House, part of the Abbeyfield Family, is a residential care home with extensive gardens. Located in Silverdale in North Lancashire, overlooking Morecambe Bay, highly qualified and experienced staff support residents in all aspects of daily living.
The Problem & Goal
Cove House realised their existing fire alarm system was unsatisfactory and not meeting their requirements. Swiftly seeking expert advice on a system that would be more suitable they approached Bainbridge Ltd.
The Solution
Shortly after speaking to the Fire and Security team at Bainbridge and arranging a full inspection, review and confirmation of requirements, a solution was agreed and a new L1 fully addressable and wireless fire alarm system, covering all areas of the residential care home, was installed. Full BAFE and NICEIC certification was provided on completion.
The Results & Benefits
There are few things more important than health, safety, and wellbeing, needless to say the reassurance and peace of mind gained from a prompt and effective assessment and installation was fantastic to see for all involved.
