Fire poses significant risks to businesses, potentially harming individuals, devastating property, and leading to material and financial losses. Our mission is to minimise these risks by installing top-tier fire alarm systems and comprehensive fire safety measures.
Our fire alarm systems serve as an early warning mechanism, offering crucial time for safe evacuation and enabling prompt action by emergency services. These systems pinpoint the exact location of a fire, minimising response time and aiding in effective fire containment.
Adherence to UK fire alarm regulations is essential. All business premises are mandated to have an appropriate fire detection system. Our fire alarm systems keep businesses fully compliant with these regulations.

Yes. Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, non-domestic premises must have appropriate fire detection and warning measures based on a Fire Risk Assessment. Bainbridge specifies and installs BS 5839-1 compliant systems tailored to your building category and risk profile.
BS 5839-1:2025 is the current code of practice for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems in non-domestic premises. Bainbridge's BAFE SP203-1 registration covers the relevant fire-alarm work modules.
Cost depends on the building size and use, system category, conventional or addressable design, number of devices, cabling, interfaces, access and project phasing. A site survey and agreed specification are needed for a reliable quotation.
Commercial systems require a weekly user test of at least one call point to confirm panel and sounder operation. Professional inspection and servicing by a competent person must also be carried out at least every six months under BS 5839-1.
