Our Fire and Security Team

Pete Abernethy heads up our fire and security division at Bainbridge. Pete has over 23 years of experience in the fire and security industry, during which he has built up vast amounts of invaluable knowledge.

Pete manages a skilled team of engineers dedicated to keeping people and properties safe and secure, with customers at the core of everything the business does.

We are fully certified, insured and approved to BAFE SP203-1 Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems Scheme. Intruder Alarm systems to PD 6662:2017, details of schemes certified by the SSAIB. All our installations and paperwork are audited on a regular basis.

In addition to this, our processes are in accordance with EN45011 Product Certification Body and EN45012 as a Quality Management System Certification Body. We are also approved by the UK’s Accreditation Service (UKAS) for the installation and maintenance of intruder alarms and members of Safecontractor, CHAS and Constructionline.
